dbstructural wraps-up 2025 celebrating its 10th anniversary
This year marks a milestone that’s both humbling and incredibly meaningful: dbstructural’s 10-year anniversary. Owner, Darren Ball shares a few words in recognition:
When I look back to where it all began, it still amazes me. What started as a small side project working out the spare room to help fund my own wedding slowly transformed into a ‘proper’ business, fuelled by determination, big ideas and countless late nights.
After four years of sustained workload and significant growth, Olly joined me. Initially working at home, but we soon moved into our first premises in Soulbury, on the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard where Olly and I were both living at the time. Vikii joined us shortly after and before long, we were packing boxes again; this time expanding into a bigger unit on the estate to make room for a growing team and even bigger ambitions. Today, we stand 13 strong and every person who has joined us has helped shape who we are and what we deliver.
From day one, I wanted this company to be built on strong family-first values. Engineering is our expertise, but people are our foundation. I’m proud that even as we’ve grown, through challenges, busy project cycles and constant change, we’ve stayed true to those values. We’ve created a progressive environment that empowers our team to manage the demands of client work and life on-site while still putting family and wellbeing at the forefront.
To our team: thank you for your hard work, your brilliance, your loyalty, and for believing in the vision. You’re the reason we’re here today, and the reason we’ll continue to grow.

Ten years in and I feel like we’re just getting started. Here’s to the next chapter, built on the same values, the same passion and the same commitment to doing things the right way – the dbstructural way!
